Google Analytics for Power BI: sync to Excel & BigQuery

SyncRange complements teams who want curated GA4 tabs in Excel or a BigQuery project they control. Point Power BI at those destinations for reports fed by SyncRange schedules.

Overview: all destinations for Google Analytics (GA4)

How SyncRange sends data

Connect, choose columns, schedule refreshes

  1. Connect securely so SyncRange can read your Google Analytics (GA4) data using only the access your team approves.
  2. Pick export tabs and map them to Power BI. Each tab becomes a worksheet, table, or file range you control.
  3. Run on demand or on a schedule; SyncRange handles pagination, retries, and headers so each refresh is predictable.

Power BI reports read from connectors such as Microsoft Excel and BigQuery. SyncRange focuses on keeping Google Analytics (GA4) accurate inside those destinations. Think of us as the sync layer, not a charting substitute.

After data lands on a schedule, you build Power BI visuals and data models the same way you would for any other business data. Power BI stays fast because the heavy lifting happens in Excel or BigQuery.

Power BI and your data warehouse

Power BI connects natively to BigQuery and Microsoft Excel. SyncRange does not build visuals inside Power BI. We keep Google Analytics (GA4) synchronized into those destinations so your reports and data models stay fast and auditable.

Export schema

What we can export, and how it lands

Each row is a field you can include or omit in the app before export. Column headers match the labels below; SyncRange writes them as the first row in your destination (worksheets in Google Sheets or Excel, or BigQuery columns) when you choose Power BI.

Dimensions (GA4)

Each Analytics export tab mixes dimensions and metrics you select. GA4 compatibility rules apply in the app (some combinations are not valid on Google's side).
