New features, improvements, and updates to SyncRange

  • June 2026

    • •Shopify exports: new Payouts and Balance Transactions tabs for Shopify Payments bank transfers and per-transaction processing fees (with order and payout links). Requires Shopify Payments and a store reconnect to grant the new scopes. Documented in Configuring Shopify exports and the Shopify data reference.
    • •Amazon Seller exports: new Promotions tab (Lightning Deal and Best Deal performance) and Coupons tab (clips, redemptions, budget, and sales). Documented in Configuring Amazon Seller exports.
    • •Microsoft Excel is now available as an export destination alongside Google Sheets and BigQuery.

    • •Shopify exports: new Refund Analysis tab — per-product refund metrics over the selected date range (refunded units, refund amount, refund rates, average refund value, days to refund), using the same streamed line-item pipeline as Line Items and Product Analysis.     • •Polished the new-export setup: clearer layout and simpler destination choices.
    • •Shopify Orders and Line Items exports: optional Discount Codes Applied (JSON) and Discount Code IDs (JSON) columns (same pattern as customer segment JSON fields) for easier parsing in Google Sheets and BigQuery.
    • •Shopify Orders and Line Items: added split discount columns Manual Discount Codes and Automatic Discount Titles for clearer reporting between user-entered codes and automatic discounts.
    • •Shopify Line Items: added Refunded Amount column. Per-row values: refund rows show the amount refunded for that specific line, product/shipping rows show 0. Sum the column for an order to get its total refund.
    • •Shopify Orders and Line Items: Order Date is now a date only (YYYY-MM-DD); a new Order Date Time column carries the full timestamp. Existing BigQuery tables keep their existing order_date schema (so existing exports don't break), and you can add Order Date Time when you need time-of-day precision.
    • •New documentation page: Shopify data reference with a per-tab list of every available column and a short description of each, plus a reconciliation table for Orders vs Line Items date semantics.

  • April 2026

    • •Export schedules: added every 30 minutes for Scale and Growth plans, and every 15 minutes for Growth. Free remains daily scheduling. Also improved scheduler behavior to avoid overlapping backlog for the same export when a previous run is still in progress.
    • •BigQuery: when creating a new dataset, you can now select the data location (region or multi-region) from a dropdown.
    • •Shopify exports: added a new Customer Segments tab that exports one row per customer per segment membership, covering every segment in your store. Useful for building a flat membership table in Google Sheets or querying segment membership directly in BigQuery. Shopify does not return email on segment member rows, so use customer_id to join with the Customers tab when needed.
    • •Shopify exports: added segment columns for Customers and Discounts. You can now export Customer Segment IDs and Customer Segment Names, plus discount eligibility segment fields (Eligibility Customer Segment IDs and Eligibility Customer Segment Names) alongside the existing eligibility columns. JSON versions of these segment fields are also available for easier BigQuery querying.
    • •Added a new Shopify Orders vs Meta Ads Dashboard template (Google Sheets) to help compare sales and ad performance in one view, including metrics like total sales, ad spend, customers, MER, CPC/CTR, AOV/LTV, nCAC, and PFR.
    • •Shopify Orders: added optional Order Note Attributes export column for additional details. Values are exported as a JSON array of key/value pairs, preserving duplicate keys for reliable use in Google Sheets and BigQuery.
    • •Export notifications: plan-limit skips (e.g. monthly row usage) are separate from real errors in run history and use their own email instead of “export failed.” Plan-limit emails send at most once per team per calendar month.

  • March 2026

    • •Shopify: Backup (10 years) date range (Pro, Scale, and Growth) for pulling a long historical window into Sheets or BigQuery—manual runs only, one data tab at a time, schedules paused while selected.
    • •Google Ads exports: you can now filter each report type tab to specific campaigns. Use the Campaigns dropdown when creating or editing an export to select one or more campaigns; leave all unchecked for all campaigns. Available for Campaign Performance, Ad Group Performance, Keyword Performance, Ad Performance, Search Term Performance, and Performance Max Search Terms. Geographic and Shopping reports are not filtered. Campaigns with no data for the date range will still appear with zero metrics and correct campaign names.
    • •Meta exports: you can now limit performance data to specific platforms. In Export Settings (when creating or editing a Meta export), choose Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and/or Audience Network to include only those platforms in your Date and Insights tabs. Leave all unchecked for combined data across all platforms. A Platform column is available in those tabs when you use a platform filter. Campaigns, Ad Sets, Ads and Audiences tabs are not filtered.
    • •Shopify Orders: you can now export up to 8 custom order metafields as separate columns. In the Orders tab, enter the metafield key (e.g. custom.ids) in the Custom Metafield Columns fields; each appears as its own column with the key as the header and the value per order. Works with both Google Sheets and BigQuery exports.
    • •Shopify: the Customers and Orders export tabs now support full customer default address fields (Address Line 1/2, Province/State, Zip/Postal Code) in addition to city/country.
    • •Shopify: added a Collections export tab. Export your collections (ID, title, handle, description, sort order, products count, updated date) to Google Sheets or BigQuery. You can add up to 8 custom collection metafield columns in namespace.key format, same as Orders and Products. Documentation updated for Orders, Products, and Collections metafields.
    • •Shopify: added a Since last export date preset for incremental syncs on Orders, Line Items, Customers, and Sales Metrics, plus improved date/time formatting reliability in Sheets :)
    • •Added Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) as a data source, with exports to Google Sheets and BigQuery.
    • •LinkedIn exports: date preset options are now expanded (today, yesterday, last 3/7/14/28/30/90 days, this month, last month, this quarter, this year, last year, maximum). Time granularity (All, Daily, Monthly, Yearly) is available for analytics tabs.
    • •TikTok exports: Performance Insights tab now supports time granularity (Daily, Weekly, Lifetime). Date preset options now match LinkedIn: this year, last year, and all other presets (today, yesterday, last 3/7/14/28/30/90 days, this/last month, this quarter, maximum).

    • •Added a way to remove individual Meta ad accounts from SyncRange.
    • •Added live updating to export run logs so you can see the progress of your exporters.
    • •Google Sheets now tracks each worksheet by a unique ID so you can change the worksheet (tab) name and SyncRange will still update it.
    • •Added a way to set a custom prefix when creating / adding a BigQuery dataset in SyncRange.
    • •Implemented bulk operations for Shopify to increase speed for large datasets.
