Reports

Reports keep selected account data synced and viewable inside SyncRange, so you can explore tables and refresh on a schedule without setting up your own warehouse.

Who can use Reports

Reports are available on the Growth plan. If your team is on another plan, upgrade to Growth to create and sync reports. The Reports item appears in the app navigation when your plan includes it.

How Reports differ from exporters

  • Exporters send data to destinations you own, such as Google Sheets, BigQuery, or Excel.
  • Reports sync data into SyncRange-managed storage and show it in the Reports area of the app.

You still connect the same apps (Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, and so on). Reports reuse those connections; they do not replace exporters if you also need a spreadsheet or warehouse you control.

Where the data lives

SyncRange manages the storage behind Reports for you. You do not need to create a BigQuery project or pick a destination sheet for a report. When you delete a report (or your account), that synced report data is removed with it. For privacy details, see our Privacy Policy and Security pages.

How report accounts count on your plan

Each account you add to a report counts as one exporter toward your plan’s exporter limit. That is the same limit used by Sheets exports, Data Blends, Looker Studio connectors, and AI tool connections.

  • One Shopify store on a report = 1 exporter slot.
  • Shopify and Meta on the same report = 2 exporter slots.
  • The same account on two different reports = 2 exporter slots.
  • An export to Sheets for an account plus that same account on a report = 2 exporter slots.

Removing an account from a report (or deleting the report) frees those slots. If you are at your limit, free a slot or upgrade before adding more accounts.

Available sources

Connect the app first under Apps, then add that account to a report. Supported sources include:

Ecommerce and ops

  • Shopify
  • Amazon Seller Central
  • Etsy
  • Faire
  • Seal Subscriptions
  • ShipStation

Ads

  • Google Ads
  • Meta
  • TikTok
  • LinkedIn
  • Bing Ads

Google marketing

  • Google Analytics 4
  • Google Search Console
  • Google Business Profile

Create a report

  1. Open Reports from the app navigation, then click Create Report.
  2. Enter a name, choose how many days of history to backfill, pick a data location (this cannot be changed later), and set a sync schedule (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or manual only).
  3. Add one or more connected accounts. Each account you add uses an exporter slot.
  4. Continue to Data & campaigns. For each account, choose which data types (tables) and columns to sync. For ad sources, you can optionally limit to specific campaigns; leave campaigns empty to include all.
  5. Save to start the first sync (backfill). When it finishes, open the report to browse tables in SyncRange.

Manage accounts and data

  • Manage accounts — add or remove connected accounts on an existing report. Adding an account uses another exporter slot; removing one frees a slot.
  • Data & campaigns — change which tables and columns sync, and update campaign filters for ad sources.

Report settings

From the report page, open Settings to update:

  • Name — how the report appears in your list
  • Backfill days — history window used for the initial sync and for replace-style refreshes
  • Sync frequency — hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or manual only

Use Sync now for a manual refresh. You can also delete a report from Settings; that removes the report and its SyncRange-managed data, and frees the exporter slots for accounts that were on it.

Viewing synced data

Open a report to see accounts and tables in the sidebar. Select a table to load rows with pagination and sorting. Sync status updates while a run is in progress.

Tips

  • Connect sources under Apps before creating a report.
  • Start with the tables you need; you can change data selection later without recreating the report.
  • Watch your exporter usage on the Exporters page. Report accounts share that limit with your other connections.
  • If you leave Growth, existing reports may still be viewable, but creating, adding accounts, and syncing require Growth again.
