Manage blends

Work with existing blends from the list and detail pages.

Blend list

Open Data Blends to see all blends for your team. From the list you can open a blend (View), see destination and next run time, and start a new blend.

Blend detail page

The detail page shows configuration, tabs, schedule, and recent runs. Common actions:

  • Run now — start an export immediately (uses the current date range and settings)
  • Edit — change name, date range, destination, sources (active/inactive), tabs, and options like combine by date
  • Edit schedule — change frequency or run time (same schedule UI as exporters)
  • Pause / resume schedule — stop or restart automatic runs without deleting the blend
  • Delete — remove the blend and its schedule

Editing safely

When you edit a custom tab, keep the sources and columns you need selected before saving. Toggling only Combine by date or Append should not clear your sources or columns.

If a tab has no active sources, that tab will write no data rows (and in replace mode may clear the sheet tab).

Run logs

Recent runs appear on the blend detail page and update while a job is in progress. Each run shows status, row counts, and any tab-level errors.

If one tab fails (for example a disconnected account), other tabs can still succeed. Check the run message and error text for the failed tab name.

For general log behavior shared with exporters, see View exporter logs.

Common issues

  • Token / connection errors — reconnect the platform account (OAuth tokens can become invalid if encryption keys or credentials change).
  • Empty tab after edit — confirm the tab still has sources and columns selected, and that those sources are active.
  • Missing Shopify or GA4 columns — use a template or custom tab that includes those fields; not every template includes every platform.
  • Blend inactive — turn Blend active on in Edit before running.
