Connecting Your Etsy Shop

Connect your Etsy shop to SyncRange to export listings, orders, and transactions into Google Sheets or BigQuery.

Overview

The Etsy integration uses Etsy's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Once connected, SyncRange can read your shop's listings, receipts (orders), and transactions and export that data to your chosen destination on a schedule.

Prerequisites

  • An active Etsy seller account with at least one shop
  • At least one destination configured — Google Sheets or BigQuery

Connection steps

  1. Open Connections in SyncRange.
  2. Click Connect Etsy.
  3. You will be redirected to Etsy's authorization page.
  4. Sign in to your Etsy account if prompted.
  5. Review the permissions SyncRange is requesting and click Allow access.
  6. You will be redirected back to SyncRange. Your shop will appear as connected.

Permissions requested

SyncRange requests read-only access to your Etsy shop data. Specifically:

  • transactions_r — read receipts (orders) and transactions (line items)
  • listings_r — read your shop listings
  • profile_r — read your shop profile to identify your shop ID and name

SyncRange never writes to your Etsy account or places orders.

What is stored

SyncRange stores your shop connection credentials (encrypted) and basic shop metadata (shop name, currency, country) used to label exports. Tokens are stored encrypted at rest and used only to fetch your data when an export runs.

Managing the connection

  • View your connected Etsy shop from the Connections page.
  • Click View Dashboard to see exports associated with that shop.
  • If your connection expires or is revoked in Etsy, reconnect the account from the Connections page.
  • Disconnecting removes the Etsy shop and all associated exports from SyncRange.
