Configuring ShipStation Exports

Set up ShipStation exports to send shipping and inventory data into Google Sheets, BigQuery, or Excel.

Overview

After connecting ShipStation, use the Export Builder to create exports. Each export can include one or more data tabs (for example Shipments and Labels) and writes to a single Google Sheets spreadsheet, BigQuery dataset, or Excel file.

Prerequisites

ShipStation connected (see Connecting ShipStation)
A Google Sheets, BigQuery, or Microsoft Excel destination configured

Create an export

Go to Export Builder and create a new export.
Select ShipStation as the source and choose your connected account.
Select a destination (Google Sheets, BigQuery, or Excel).
Give the export a name.
On the configuration page, choose a date range and select the data tabs and columns you want.
Save the export and run it manually to validate the output.

Available data tabs

Each enabled tab writes to its own sheet tab, Excel worksheet, or BigQuery table. Nested fields (addresses, costs, packages) are flattened into columns; list fields are exported as JSON text.

Shipments: shipment records, addresses, costs, packages, and items
Labels: label status, tracking, carrier, and cost details
Fulfillments: marketplace fulfillment notifications
Products: product catalog
Inventory / Inventory Warehouses / Inventory Locations: stock levels and warehouse structure
Warehouses & Carriers: ship-from locations and connected carriers
Batches, Manifests & Pickups: batch processing and carrier handoff data
Package Types, Purchase Orders, Suppliers, Tags, Totes, Users, Rate Shoppers, Webhooks: supporting reference data

Date ranges

Date presets (including Since last export and Maximum) apply to date-filterable tabs such as Shipments, Labels, Fulfillments, Batches, Manifests, Pickups, and Purchase Orders. Maximum pulls up to about 2 years of history. Reference tabs like Carriers, Warehouses, Products, and Users export in full each run.

Append vs replace

For each tab you can choose append (add new rows) or replace (overwrite existing data). Use append with Since last export when you want incremental history in Sheets or Excel.

Scheduling

After saving an export, set a schedule from the export detail page so data refreshes automatically. Manual runs are always available from the same page.
